Family violence help starts today

After a brand audit and brand story focus groups, we were able to clarify the role of the organization into this powerful statement:

The Today Centre creates a safer space and place for those impacted by family violence by hearing and validating their stories, by walking alongside them and by empowering them to live safer lives.

The new identity leverages existing brand equity that positions The Today Centre as an inclusive, integrated resource for those experiencing domestic violence.

The icon is rich in insight. It borrows a sunrise from the original identity representing positivity, brightness and the dawn of a new day. The "T" points to the centre of the sun forming the letter ā€œCā€, the inspirational focal point where The Today Centre does their work and shines a light on possibilities.

In focus groups, it was discovered that clients, team members, and external resource workers refer to The Today Family Violence Help Centre as simply, The Today Centre. The new identity simplifies the name to reflect the insight.

The brand platform headline is a call to action. Today is the day where things can change for the better. It starts at The Today Centre.

Custom illustrations were created in a variety of styles to expand the visual language of the brand. The range of drawing styles are connected through the use of colour and positive, welcoming themes.
