Why hello there, my name is Jane; I am the new Account Executive here at The Met Agency.
A little bit about me: I am an adventurer at heart, which means I like to explore the possibilities life has to offer.
Sometimes my adventurous side gets me into trouble (like that time I set sail down the river in a dingy, during a lighting storm, with only a bottle of wine and a whistle in hand). Other times, however, my desire for adventure has opened up exciting new opportunities (embark on a career in marketing? Sure, why not!).
With my background in psychology, the focus of my career has been to connect with others, gain an understanding of their world and break down barriers to find solutions. I was drawn to marketing because, in this industry, we are able to do just that. And, in the process, we shed light on new perspectives and expand the understanding of what is possible.
Outside of work, I can be found reading books or listening to another person’s life story. You can also find me going for leisurely walks or making friends with strangers: as I always say, “Strangers are friends you haven’t met yet.” But, don’t let my calm demeanor fool you. I have been nicknamed ‘Jungle Jane’ by my friends (“Jungle” for short) and I am trained in Brazilian Jiu Jstu (how’s that for adventurous?).
I am looking forward to this new adventure in marketing and advertising here at The Met. It’s a real joy to work at a place where we are encouraged to scribble outside of the lines and test the limits of what is possible.
If we are still strangers and have not yet met, please stop by, say hi and let’s become friends.
